Orma modular formwork consists of extremely large panels with constant physical properties which guarantee excellent savings due to their wide range of uses, smooth surfaces and easy up keep.
The Orma system is a large ‘Crane Set’ panel system that is designed for use where quick repetitive moves are required. This system is mainly used on large scale projects as the panels range in size from 1.2m to 2.7m. The panels consist of a metal, closed profile framework and a series of ribs. These elements combine to provide the base for the 18mm phenolic plywood panel which acts as the forming face. The boarders of the boards are protected with an acrylic resin.
The Orma panels are connected together using a multi function clamp which has the following functions:
- Standard connecting clamp
- Multi clamp capable of taking up to a 90m infill
- It also acts as an alignment rail

This lightweight formwork comprises a galvanised steel frame with 15mm phenolic coated timber ensuring good water resistance and smooth finish.
The Shiluvit system also incorporates a multi function clamp for ease and speed of use. The clamps can be used to join 2 formwork panels together and to provide rigidity to assembled panels of up to 6m wide during a crane lift. There are different clamps available for forming right angled or angular corners; creating wall junctions; changing wall thicknesses; or forming Z shaped profiles.
